Welcome to the S.P.C.A., we are a No Kill, not for profit animal rescue and welfare organization. Established in Volusia County in 1977, we now have volunteers serving West Volusia, East Volusia,  Flagler, Lake, Seminole, Putnam, Duval, Brevard, St. John Counties, more. We have also expanded to and network with parts of Georgia and North Carolina. We are supported entirely by donations and the wonderful work of volunteers.

The S.P.C.A. is dedicated to the protection and welfare of all animals. Our programs include:

  • Adoption-- Foster/Referral
  • Pet Food Program
  • Pet Therapy
  • Rescue 
  • Special Kitty Top Cat rescue for abused cats and kittens      


PET FOOD DRIVE- Call for drop off locations or pick up of large amounts.

TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Our newest baby is LILLY, thrown in a dumpster behind a restaurant and found

by employees, this little one was only 1 day old. She is with our volunteer Sarah

and doing well, taking her bottle every 3 hrs and gaining weight. 



RESCUED DOGS NEED FOREVER HOMES
The SPCA of Volusia have rescued 8 dogs from a HIGH KILL SHELTER. All of these dogs were abandoned and were set to be euthanized on the day we pulled them from the shelter. They all need a forever home. They are good with kids, dogs and cats! They are vaccinated, vet. checked and are in process of getting spayed/neutered. Baby girl is a 2yr. old min pin mix and we also have two 8 mo. old pointers and Sasha a Frenchie.
